WATCH THE STORMS MOVE IN

STORM WATCH
First...NEW FEATURE...We have added a flashing "Storm Watch" to the top right corner of the page to alert you when significant storms are on their way. You will be able to read more details about it here in the main section of the blog.

Severe weather looks to be returning to the Tri-State Friday afternoon and overnight. We first mentioned this storm early in the week, and it appears the storm has sped up enough that we will be left with a nice weekend. The storm will happen in two parts...one will come through Friday afternoon / evening and the actual cold front will move through just after midnight.

We should the sky start do darken late morning friday and get a few pop up storms that develop out ahead of the cold front. Any storm that does occur will have the potential to be severe given the current environment. The main threat from these storms will be large hail and very strong straight line winds. Chances for Tornadoes look to be slim but cannot be completely ruled out. We'll be posting the watches and Warnings as they occur.

Check out "The Storm in Alvin's Head" below for more details on how Friday's storms compare to the Severe Weather from last week.

Stay Tuned...

WEATHER FORECASTER

Take a look at the interactive weather forecaster. This will be on the page when there is a "lull" in the action for Cincinnati. There is a weekly forecast as well as hour by hour. I will be back with my forecasts and weather commentary when there is a threat for an accumulating snow or severe weather in the area.
