Snow...Then Shorts?

"AWE....SNAP"
A famous quote from Megan. The cold snap has set in and we will hold in the 40's during the day until midweek. In fact, it will be so cold that we may see a few flurries around Tuesday and Wednesday morning. They will be lake enhanced flurries. The air is cold enough at the cloud level that our 40's is causing instability. The cold air over lake Michigan will add to that, and if the wind blows just right we'll see our first flurries of the season in the early morning hours Tuesday and Wednesday, but don't worry they won't amount to anything.

Snow Covered

So...the coldest air of the season is here this week, but that doesn't mean the kids have to stay in on Halloween. We'll see a nice warming trend as we head into the last part of the work week. Friday's high's will be in the mid 60's and they'll barely need a long sleeve shirt for the event.

Different Kind of Week

COLD RAIN COMING
We have a different kind of week than what we're used to. After a nice autumn weekend with highs in the 60's and lows in the 30's and nothing but sunshine, we have a raw end of the week coming up.

Wednesday,
another storm system will be coming at us from Oklahoma and Nebraska. It's expected to strengthen as it moves in our area. It's a cold storm! Highs will drop into the 50's with a decent amount of rain late on Friday through Saturday morning. To give you an idea as to how cold this storm will be, we expect it to bring a rain/snow mix to areas of Oklahoma and Nebraska as it strengthens and heads our way...but everyone can relax, we expect it to just be a cold rain as it crosses our area.

LONG AWAITED BATTLE

Some of us have waited 8 years for this game. Will West Virginia match up with the SEC? Can Auburn handle the cold? Let's see....here's a little game weather

A Split Week

A/C...THEN HEAT?
Is that the temperature chart for this week or a picture of the stock market? Welcome to the Wild October temperatures swings. After nearly a record hot weekend, we are heading into a large cool down. 80's look to be done until spring. 60's and 50's are on tap next. We'll be in the 70's until Wednesday when a cold front will come through knocking our temperatures down to the 60's and then 50's by Friday. The weekend looks like fall football weather with highs in the low 60's. Nights will be cool and back in the low 40's and even uppper 30's.

Mon-Tues...Keep the A/C on
Wed-Sat ...Light the furnace.

RAIN & PARTY!!!!

PUT THE SPRINKLER AWAY

Don't be surprised on Wednesday morning when you see all walks of wildlife outside with their heads tilted back...mouths pointed towards the sky, getting a drink. That's right, a good soaking is on the way to Cincy and it's about time. The lawn, and plants will get their welcome drink this week as rain will move in just after midnight on Tuesday and last most of Wednesday. Until then, expect highs near 80 and lows near 50.
